2026 Murph Challenge
On July 31, every member of the Ludlowe Falcons Football Team completed our annual Murph Challenge to kick off the season, honor our servicemen and women, and test our strength, speed, and endurance.
A “Murph” is a grueling test of physical and mental endurance honoring fallen Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy. The workout consists of a one-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another one-mile run.
Our players trained and fundraised throughout the summer, and all that hard work culminated in an incredible display of determination and teamwork. Every player pushed through the challenge and supported their teammates until the final rep and final mile were completed.
Funds raised through the challenge supported our strength and conditioning program as we work toward our goal of reaching the CIAC Class L playoffs for the first time in modern program history. We also made a contribution to Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW), a veteran-founded nonprofit dedicated to honoring, empowering, and supporting wounded military and law enforcement veterans.
We were also honored to welcome Earl Granville, a decorated veteran and motivational speaker, who shared his inspiring story of resilience, perseverance, and overcoming adversity. His message provided our players with lessons that extend far beyond the football field.
The Murph Challenge was more than a workout—it was a chance to honor those who have sacrificed for our country, support our veterans, challenge ourselves, and come together as Falcons.

Car Wash
The Car Wash at Ludlowe High School took place on June 15th this year and was again a great success. Thanks to our boys and their families for their fundraising efforts. A lot of cars were cleaned and it was a fun day!
